Some people use them and some people do not, but if you do not want to leave your big bottle of acetone, nail polish remover, or slip solution open while doing your nails then this is the solution for you. Glass nail dishes do not melt or flip over easily.
Review: For a simple 2-glass nail dish set (usually not sold individually) is probably the cheapest on Amazon. The glass nail dishes are sturdy and stay upright. Overall I have no complaints and have not broken one yet.
